Centipede Hz - Animal Collective

by efil4zagginman this really pumps my nads

by lollytay Those looking for Merriweather Post Pavilion 2.0 should turn away. This album is a new vein in the Animal Collective discography and it's a huge bundle of sounds to unravel. It's daunting at first, but oh so rewarding with each listen.

Centipede Hz, built around the idea of an alien radio transmission, is a journey that, if taken willingly, can transform the listener. Standouts include brash, but oddly melodic opener Moonjock, Deakin's lead vocal debut Wide Eyed, the fantastic Moneky Riches and epic album closer Amanita.

So enjoy this album for what it is. Don't let your expectations or predictions cloud the real point of this album: the music.

by Lara McTyer Was the magnitude quake Stuart Berman had in his Batman underoos. Poor thing didn't think it felt good, bless his heart. The aliens will be displeased. The Deak will make sure of it.
